Have you heard of Darby Smart?

I am sure you've seen, heard of, or maybe are subscribed to a monthly box of some sort. They have many different ones out there, some for make-up, nail polish, snacks, organic products, etc. Darby Smart is a wonderful site where you can get boxes to create awesome do it yourself projects. They have lots of options and you can either sign up for a monthly box or you can just buy individual boxes when you want them-no commitment!

When I signed up I got a code for $10 off my first box! Once you choose your box and pay, it ships out within 10 days. After my box was paid for it shipped out around 5 days later and arrived in my mail box 3 days after that.

I chose the Mixed Media Vision Boards, because I really liked the supplies that came with it and saw so many things I could do with them. The great thing about these boxes is that you can get creative and come up with different things without ever leaving your house! I have often thought of certain projects I would like to tackle but don't want to run to the craft store (the closest one is 30 minutes from my house).

Each box comes with supplies and an instruction card that has an example on the front. This set included 4 mini canvases, a piece of patterned paper, a circle punch, a black sharpie, paint, a sponge brush, 3 Tulip brand pouncers and mod podge. I was excited to get started on it right away. I punched out some circles from my patterned paper and mod-podged them to my canvases, then once that dried I painted over it. I would start on a new one while waiting for another to dry. Once the paint dried, I would mod-podge some more punched circles onto it. Next, I used the pouncers to makes big dots on each canvas. Once they had all dried I made a mandala style design on each one in different patterns with the sharpie.

I love that when I hang them I can rearrange them however I want. They look great together and I can mix and match and switch them up.

Hope you enjoyed seeing my creation! I really hope it inspired you to go get your box and start creating.
