Motherhood Inspiration

Let's face it, being a mom isn't easy. It's not a walk in the park...it's more like a run through a circus in the coldest wind struggling to catch your breath. Yeh...that sounds about right. Our generation faces many new trials and troubles raising children. With new laws and our ever-growing technological advances, moms have their work cut out for them. It can be hard to keep your head above the water.

Sometimes moms feel the need to point out what other moms are doing wrong, instead of thinking about how everyone's circumstances and lives are different. What works for you may not work for someone else. One thing I think most people can agree on is that we need to encourage each other. We need to help each other out instead of tearing each other down. I thought I would share some quotes that inspire me as mother and keep me going and give me hope. I hope they help you too. :)

"I may not have ended up where I intended to go, but I think I've ended where I needed to be" - Douglas Adams

"When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child." - Sophia Loren

"It is not until you become a mother that your judgment slowly turns to compassion and understanding." - Erma Bombeck

"Mother is a verb, not a noun"

Remember, you are amazing! You are a mom. You have someone who depends on you and thinks you are the coolest person ever. Hug them tight and be thankful for them.

Blessings and love from my family to yours.
