Welcome to Kids and Crafts! We would like to let you know a few things and put more of a story behind this blog.
I'll start out by letting you know a little about me. My name is Jessica and I am from Huntsville, AL. I am the daughter of two amazing parents, one was a farmer and the other a bus driver. I have three older sisters and one nephew and three nieces. I have lived in Savannah, GA, Jacksonville, FL, Knoxville,TN, and currently reside in a small town outside of Auburn, AL called Loachapoka. I am a wife, stay at home mom to two toddlers, and an artist/crafter.
Artsmada was a project that began in May 2012 as a way for my husband and I to be able to work from home. We started a Facebook page and shared content we found relevant and started sharing other artists' work. In August 2013 we opened an Etsy shop so that I would be able to sell my paintings, jewelry and other crafts. The blog began as a way to share biographies of famous artists, d.i.y. projects, and more.
Many things in our lives have changed recently, which led us to make changes to different aspects of our day-to-day life. My husband is now busy with school and his other projects so I will be taking over this blog. Since I am a stay at home mom I needed to adjust this project to fit my routine and life as artist and mommy.
What was Artsmada will now be Kids and Crafts. Kids and Crafts will be my place to share things pertaining to my children and arts and crafts. I hope you'll stick around to follow our adventures and maybe try out a few of the posts I share with you all. If there is anything you would like to see or if you have any ideas on how to make this blog better please do not hesitate to let me know.
