With our ever-growing need for efficient waste management systems to mitigate our impact on the environment, people are always looking for ways to recycle and reduce the amount of waste that we send out to the landfills. Re-purposing items that were otherwise destined for the trash is a great way to create fun things and help the planet. Rather than tossing your burnt out light bulbs in the garbage, try this cute and creative craft idea instead! Most of the items needed for this project can be found around the house, so it wouldn't cost any extra unless you just wanted something specific.
There are so many ways to customize this project and it can easily be a quick rainy day activity. You could make it as simple as taking an old light bulb and drawing on it with a sharpie or you can go all out and Mod Podge tissue paper or fabric and add a basket! It is all up to you and how you choose to style it.
